Traditional Driven Game Shooting in the Heart of Oxfordshire

Welcome to Emmington Shoot

Nestled in the beautiful countryside near Emmington, Oxfordshire, Emmington Shoot is a well-established, friends-and-family-style shooting syndicate that combines sport, conservation, and camaraderie across 500+ acres of stunning farmland and an additional 400 acres of surrounding woodland.

We’re currently looking for a small number of like-minded guns to join our syndicate for the upcoming season.

The Shoot

8 driven days per season, plus a beater’s day
10 guns pegged each day
We release:
- 2,250 pheasants
- 1,000 French partridge
- 500 duck on two well-established ponds
Our ground includes:
- 30 acres of sown cover crop
- 50 acres of wild bird mix cover
A team of 12–14 beaters, plus experienced pickers-up
Typical bag: 100+ birds per day
We shoot primarily on Saturdays, from October to January (dates TBC).

Membership Details

£5,000 per gun

Includes 8 days shooting, beaters’ day, and full hospitality.

After each shoot, we return to the shoot lodge for a hot lunch, including wines and beers, all served in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

There may also be occasional high-seat deer stalking available to members.
